Sertão
Built in 2012, the drillship 'Sertão' is capable of tapping oil and gas reserves 40,000ft below the seabed, primarilly operating off Brazil. However after having its major contract cancelled by Petrobas, the vessel operator 'Schahin Group' filed for bankruptcy shortly after. The 60,000 tonne ship, seen here arriving into Teesbay this week, has now been repossessed by 'Dleif Drilling LLC' and will remain moored up on the River Tees for the near future. Seen here arriving, November 2015.
